Course information
You will need to make your own provision for lunch. Tea, coffee, and biscuits will be available all day.

This Level 2 assessment is for proffessional chainsaw operators who have already completed training. This is a nationally recognised qualification where assessment is carried out independently of any previous training. It is ideal for those wanting to progress to felling qualifications.
On the day of the assessment candidates will need to bring photographic proof of ID, their course paperwork, a waterproof coat and reading glasses (if required).
Candidates need to bring PPE and a chainsaw with a bar length of no longer than 15", please refer to the kit list for a full list of items. This is available to hire at our Wiltshire site at £25.00 + VAT per day (excluding the personal first aid bleed kit). Please let us know ahead of the assessment if you need to hire. Please note it is mandatory to bring a personal first aid bleed kit, if candidates arrive without one they will be required to purchase a STEIN Personal Bleed Control Kit at a cost of £40 +VAT.
Candidates must complete and return the electronic City & GuildsRegistration Form as soon as they are able. A Link to the E-Form is sent as a separate email.
Previously registered City & Guildscandidates will need to enter their individual candidate number. This can be obtained by calling 02476 857300.
Candidates should arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled assessment in preparation for a prompt start.

Please email the office with a site contact name, number and what3words reference. Please inform us of any site security requirements one week prior to your assessment. Please ensure there is a dry and warm classroom type space with wifi connection and full access to w.c. facilities.

Please ensure that there is a workspace with vices [at least one vice per two candidates], maintenance tools and a supply of wood for the assessment.
