LANTRA Level 2 Safe Use of Pesticides and Vehicle Mounted Boom Sprayers Training and Qualification [PA1&PA2]

It is suitable for anyone who uses vehicle mounted / trailer boom-spraying equipment (hydraulic nozzle) as part of their work.

Please bring photographic proof of ID and Lantra ID number (if held).

Greenway Training will provide the equipment.

Candidates should arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled course in preparation for a prompt start.

Candidates need to be dressed appropriately in work type clothing and bring a waterproof coat, wellington boots and reading glasses (if required).

This is a Level 2 qualification, which is independently assessed. The price of the course includes the cost of the assessment.

This is a nationally recognised vocational qualification in the land-based sector, Equivalent to a Level 2 academic qualification like GCSEs.

The qualification is assessed through a combination of written examinations. which are often multiple-choice tests, and practical assessments that involve direct observation and questioning by an approved assessor. The specific combination depends on the qualification, with some being purely theory-based (PA1) while others, like the forestry certificates, require a practical demonstration of skills.
