Course information

Our course is designed for anyone who currently use vehicle mounted/trailer boom spraying equipment (hydraulic nozzle) as part of their work. Candidates need to hold PA1 & PA2 as this refresher course is to develop / update your existing knowledge to continue working with pesticides effectively and safely.
Please forward you PA1 & PA2 (or equivalents) Certificates
Please bring photographic proof of ID and Lantra ID number (if held).
Greenway Training will provide the equipment.
Candidates need to hold PA1 & PA2 certification in order to be able to attend.
Candidates should arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled course in preparation for a prompt start and be dressed appropriately in work type clothing and bring a waterproof coat, wellington boots and reading glasses if required. Please note refresher courses will not cover all aspects in the same detail as a course of a longer duration.
Lantra "training only" course. This Lantra-certified course that focuses on imparting knowledge and skills through training without a formal assessment. Unlike courses leading to a full qualification, these programs provide a certificate of completion, but the learner is not tested for a specific qualification or accreditation. They are a great option for formal refresher trianing.

Please ensure there is a dry and warm classroom type space with wifi connection and full access to w.c. facilities.
For the practical, please ensure that there is a fully fuelled sprayer machine [either mounted or trailed] available. We will also require a covered area for maintenance and calibration of the sprayer together with a large outdoor space for the practical, an area of at least 50m X 100m.
For PPE, candidates will need spray coveralls, measuring jugs, wellington boots, 30cm nitrile gloves.
